About the Position
As a Coordinator, based at our Coolbinia Head Office, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality services across Ability WA. Working closely with customers, families, frontline staff, and internal stakeholders, you will provide leadership, coordination, and operational support to ensure our services are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with customer goals and organisational standards.
This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day service delivery, supporting staff, monitoring service outcomes, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the delivery of customer services, ensuring supports are aligned with individual goals, preferences, and funding arrangements.
- Develop, review, and maintain Customer Support Plans and associated documentation.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to Support Workers and other frontline team members.
- Monitor customer outcomes, goal progression, and service utilisation to ensure quality and compliance requirements are met.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and development of Support Workers.
- Coordinate rostering requirements and workforce planning to ensure continuity of service delivery.
- Maintain accurate customer and service records, ensuring data integrity across organisational systems.
- Report, investigate, and monitor incidents, complaints, and safeguarding matters, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Liaise with customers, families, guardians, allied health professionals, and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
- Support compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards, Quality & Safeguards Commission requirements, and organisational policies.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, audits, and organisational projects as required.

About You
To begin your journey with us, you will ideally possess:
- Demonstrated experience in a coordination, leadership, or supervisory role, preferably within the disability, community services, health, or human services sector.
- Sound knowledge of NDIS principles, customer-centred practice, and the Quality & Safeguarding Framework.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, families, and colleagues.
- Confidence working with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management systems.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health, Disability, Community Services, Social Sciences, Behavioural Sciences, or a related field are desirable.
Essential Requirements
- National Police Clearance (issued within the last six months).
- Current Driver's Licence.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 or equivalent).
- Full Australian working rights.
