About the Role

As a Recruitment Officer at Ability WA, you’ll play a vital role in hiring the right people to help us empower individuals living with disabilities to realise their abilities.

💼 Permanent, full-time position

📍 Coolbinia office with flexible work options

In this role, you will:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, including advertising, screening, interviews, assessment centres, reference checks, compliance, contracts, and onboarding.
  • Build strong relationships and partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to meet workforce needs.
  • Maintain a pipeline of high-quality candidates and deliver exceptional candidate care throughout the process.
  • Use proven sourcing strategies and media channels to attract and select top talent.

 

About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • A passion for recruitment and making a positive impact on the lives of people living with disabilities.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or recruitment, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in high-volume recruitment with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities (highly desirable).
  • A collaborative mindset and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage people from diverse backgrounds.
  • A 'think differently' mindset – we value ideas and innovation to improve our recruitment process.
  • The right to work in Australia.
  • Ability to complete required checks (NDIS Worker Screening, National Police Clearance, COVID vaccination).
