About the Position

As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, you will support people living with disability to achieve their health, fitness and participation goals through evidence-based exercise programs and interventions. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver person-centred services that improve independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

You will work with customers in a variety of settings, including one-to-one sessions, group programs and fitness-based classes. Using your clinical expertise and motivational approach, you will empower customers to achieve meaningful outcomes and maintain their health and wellbeing.

6-Month Fixed Term Contract | Part-Time (0.6 FTE) | Central Hub, Coolbinia

What You'll Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology.
  • Current accreditation and membership with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
  • A passion for helping people living with disability achieve their goals.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compliance Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to provide:

  • Proof of Full Australian Work Rights
  • National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old).
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Nationally Accredited First Aid Certificate
