Project Lead – Specialist Therapy Clinics

Ability WA is seeking an experienced Allied Health Professional to lead the development of a specialist clinic model at our Coolbinia site.
This newly established project will design a targeted specialist therapy service offering that supports customer growth, enhances customer experience and strengthens Ability WA's service differentiation. The project will focus on developing sustainable service models, improving customer onboarding and scheduling processes, and ensuring operational readiness for delivery.
About the Role
Reporting to the Strategic Project Manager, with support from the Executive General Manager Therapy Services, the Project Lead will work collaboratively across Therapy Services, Marketing, Customer Experience and operational teams to establish a contemporary specialist clinic model that meets customer needs and aligns with Ability WA's strategic objectives.
This role will lead the planning, design and implementation of the service model, ensuring clear pathways, efficient processes and a strong foundation for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of a specialist therapy clinic model.
- Define service offerings, customer pathways and operational requirements.
- Develop project plans, procedures, resources and supporting documentation.
- Work with therapy teams to identify opportunities for service innovation and growth.
- Collaborate with Marketing to support service positioning and promotion.
- Review and improve onboarding, scheduling and customer journey processes.
- Engage stakeholders across the organisation to ensure readiness for service delivery.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks and provide regular updates on deliverables and outcomes.
- Support the transition of project outcomes into business-as-usual operations.
About You
You are an innovative and collaborative allied health professional who enjoys improving services and creating positive customer experiences.
You will have:

A tertiary qualification in any Allied Health discipline, with current registration and/or professional membership where applicable.

Demonstrated experience supervising allied health students and fostering positive student placement experiences.
- Current registration and/or professional membership relevant to your discipline.
- Experience working within disability, health or community services.
- Demonstrated experience leading service improvements, projects or new initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience analysing and improving service delivery processes.
- Understanding of the NDIS and contemporary disability service delivery.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and achieve outcomes.
