We are inviting expressions of interest for an Allied Health Student Placement Project Lead. This short-term project offers a unique opportunity to design and implement an innovative, disability-specific Allied Health student placement model in collaboration with university partners and Rocky Bay.
This role will play a critical part in strengthening future workforce pipelines, enhancing the quality of student placements, and supporting sustainable supervision approaches, all while delivering meaningful outcomes for our customers.
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead the design and implementation of a multidisciplinary student placement model tailored to disability services
- Partner with universities and Rocky Bay teams to co-design sustainable placement frameworks and strengthen external partnerships
- Identify and embed best-practice approaches to student supervision, support and workforce development
- Ensure alignment with organisational priorities and customer-centred outcomes
- Identify, communicate and manage all key influences, including risks and associated issues
- Manage key project elements including risks, issues, budgets, and resource allocation
- Provide clear reporting, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
About You
You will bring:
- Allied Health qualification with experience in the supervision of Allied Health students
- Experience in project leadership and delivery, ideally in healthcare, disability, or community services
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build partnerships across organisations and sectors
- Knowledge or interest in student placements, training pathways, or workforce development
- Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and drive outcomes within a short-term project timeframe
- Commitment to inclusion and improving lives in the community
- Current right to work in Australia and ability to obtain required checks (NDIS Worker Screening, National Police Clearance, Driver’s Licence)
