About the position

This role kicks off with a two month period covering for our Senior Payroll Officer, followed by a dynamic shift to project implementation. Full-time, Fixed Term (12 month contract) based at our Coolbinia Head Office

As a Senior Payroll Officer, you will:

  • Cover for the Senior Payroll Officer during a 2 month leave period and ensure payroll is run in a timely and effective manner
  • Assist the payroll team with the implementation of our new TechnologyOne payroll system 
  • Assist employees by checking and processing their commencement, cessation and extension of contract advices.
  • Determine, authorise and process salaries, wages and allowances for employees ensuring compliance with Awards, Agreements and contracts.
  • Create and maintain personnel and payroll records for all employees.

About You

What we’ll need to help kick-start your journey with us:

  • Minimum 2 years end to end payroll experience
  • Experience with Micropay/Sage and Technology One (preferred)
  • Skilled in identifying problems and creating solutions for business improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for consulting with stakeholders and advising on project methodology.
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines with an analytical approach to complex problems.
  • National Police Clearance no older than 6 months, Current Driver’s Licence, NDIS Workers Orientation Module, NDIS Worker Screening check and COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
