Nurse Manager – Community Services

Permanent Full Time | Coolbinia

Ability WA is looking for an experienced Nurse Manager to provide senior clinical leadership across Community Services.

This is a key leadership role providing clinical governance, workforce leadership and expert advice on complex health needs.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading and clinically supervising a team of Registered Nurses and a Clinical Nurse Coordinator
  • Advising managers and teams on complex clinical issues and customer intakes
  • Leading outbreak management, medication governance and clinical audits
  • Partnering with Quality & Governance and Learning & Development teams
  • Driving best‑practice, evidence‑based care and continuous improvement

About you

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Senior clinical leadership experience (disability, health, aged care or hospital)
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance, supervision and quality standards
  • Confident communicator who can lead multidisciplinary teams
  • Values‑driven and committed to person‑centred care

Mandatory compliance requirements

  • National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
  • AHPRA Registration
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID010 or HLTAID003 minimum)
  • Right to work in Australia
